Dr. Kadesha Nicholas is a passionate community advocate, dynamic public speaker, and esteemed healthcare consultant, wholeheartedly committed to empowering African Americans to take control of their health outcomes. With a master's in healthcare administration, a Doctorate in Public Health, and over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Dr. Nicholas leverages her extensive education and expertise to address and combat health disparities within her community.
At Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Nicholas served as a Program Coordinator, advocating for leukemia patients, and providing integrative therapeutic services. After relocating to Miami, she became the Practice Administrator for the Neuroscience Center for Excellence at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Here, she honed her skills in practice operations, strategic planning, and patient experience, which paved the way for her roles as a Senior Administrator at Tenet Health and later as the Director of Operations at UHealth Tower, University of Miami. At UHealth Tower, she managed one of the largest patient experience programs in the nation, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.
Inspired to make a broader impact after completing her Ph.D., Dr. Nicholas founded LTH Consulting Agency. Her agency provides exceptional healthcare consulting services and solves complex problems at affordable rates for all clients. With a focus on streamlining operations, strategic planning, performance improvement, and patient experience training, LTH Consulting Agency has partnered with mental health facilities, FQHCs, private practices, medical groups, and hospitals across the United States.
As the President of the Florida chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), Dr. Nicholas continues to champion her mission of advocating for the Black/African American community. Her efforts align with NAHSE's vision of promoting the advancement of Black leaders while serving underserved populations. Dr. Nicholas remains a pioneering force in advancing the interests of Black/African Americans, giving a voice to the voiceless, and serving as a positive role model and advocate for her community.
