Become Featured on Progressive Speaker

Contact Information

This information will not be a part of your public profile. It will only be used for booking engagements.

How does this work?

1. A progressive speaker fills out the application above with information about their work. When approved, their page will look like this:

2. Once the speaker's profile is published, interested individuals/groups can send inquiries directly to the email provided in the speaker's application. Speakers get to negotiate the terms of the speaking engagement, if they choose to accept it. Creating a profile is free and Progressive Speaker doesn't get a percentage from bookings. This means that the support we receive goes directly toward facilitating more speaking engagements and generating more funds for progressive public speakers in the U.S.

Who should join and why?

Progressive Speaker (PS) is an independent directory which features established and up-and-coming speakers (from the realms of journalism, academia, activism, art, podcasting, etc.) who stand for free and fair elections, workers’ rights, universal healthcare, paying a fair wage, getting big money out of politics, and ending U.S. imperialism, among other progressive priorities.

Here's how we aim to achieve our goals:

  • We embrace minimalism, functionality, and user privacy—PS is an ad and tracking-free platform
  • PS doesn't profit from booking fees—once contacted, speakers get to negotiate the terms of their speaking engagement
  • Listed speakers have full control over the content on their profile and how they respond to inquiries

Important note: Interested applicants should provide articles and media (about them or written by them) that clearly state their progressive orientation. It helps if you have been featured on a popular progressive platform, magazine, or podcast (examples include: The Young Turks, Democracy at Work!, The Jimmy Dore Show, Michael Brooks Show, The Grayzone, Current Affairs, Jacobin, The Real News, Democracy Now!, and many others). We are not the progressive police, but we also want to feature speakers who truly have a progressive vision and something worthwhile to say.

If this sounds like you, please fill out the form at the top of this page and we will be in touch.
